California-based fintech Piston has raised $7.5 million to modernise US fleet fuel payments using QR code technology. Backed by Spark Capital, Pear VC, and BOND, the startup serves 120+ fleets and 800 stations, processing $20 million annually. With India-based engineering and US leadership, Piston plans to expand into tolls, parking, and maintenance payments.
