Union minister Piyush Goyal urged the shipping industry to take advantage of the cabotage laws to boost flagging of vessels in India. Goyal said that shipbuilding opportunities in India are high and the government is looking at ways to promote the sector. He further stated that currently India does not have enough flagged vessels to take advantage of the regulations.
