PM Narendra Modi condoled the loss of lives in the Pune road accident and announced an ex-gratia of ₹2 lakh to the next of kin of each deceased and ₹50,000 to each injured from the PM National Relief Fund. 9 people were killed and some others injured when a speeding car rammed into a pick-up truck on Pune's Jejuri-Morgaon road.
