PM Narendra Modi launched development projects worth ₹48,520 crore in Bihar's Karakat on Friday ahead of Assembly elections. He laid the foundation stone for various projects, including the four-laning of Patna–Arrah–Sasaram section of NH-119A and ₹29,930 crore worth Nabinagar Super Thermal Power Project Stage-II. He also inaugurated the 3rd rail line between Son Nagar – Mohammad Ganj.
