PM Narendra Modi, who arrived at the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago on Friday, called Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar "Bihar ki Beti (daughter of Bihar)". He shared that her ancestors were from Buxar in Bihar, and she has even visited the place. "We are not just connected by blood or surname, we are connected by belonging," he said.
