PM Narendra Modi flagged off the first made-in-India locomotive that will be exported from Bihar's Marhowra Plant to the Republic of Guinea on Friday, thereby furthering the vision of 'Make in India - Make for the World'. The locomotives have high-horsepower engines, advanced AC propulsion system, microprocessor-based control systems, ergonomic cab designs and regenerative braking, etc.
