Jamtara Congress MLA Irfan Ansari, who is contesting Jharkhand Assembly polls again, claimed that PM Narendra Modi has held back ₹1,36,000 crore meant for tribals. "In Santhal Pargana, BJP made many attempts to damage local votes, but the opposite happened, and people here became more united," Ansari said. BJP used offensive language here but locals outrightly rejected it, he added.
