Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Cai Qi, Politburo Standing Committee member and Secretary of the Secretariat of the Chinese Communist Party and held a meeting with him at the sidelines of the SCO summit. PM Modi's meeting came shortly after his interaction with Chinese President Xi Jinping, wherein both leaders pledged to advance bilateral ties with mutual trust.
