PM Narendra Modi has inaugurated the 1.865 km long six-lane Aunta-Simaria bridge over the Ganga River in Bihar. At a width of 34 metres, this has become India's widest extradosed bridge designed with a single segmental structure. The project, which was built at a cost of around ₹1,871 crore, will connect Mokama in Patna with Begusarai.
