Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking at a Krishi programme in New Delhi, criticised the Congress for neglecting India's backward districts and highlighted success of Aspirational Districts Plan. He launched two key schemes, PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana and Mission for Aatmanirbharta in Pulses, worth ₹35,440 crore to boost agricultural productivity, crop diversification and rural development.
