Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met and congratulated Vice President-elect CP Radhakrishnan. Union Minister JP Nadda was also present in the meeting. Radhakrishnan secured 452 votes and defeated I.N.D.I.A bloc's candidate Sudershan Reddy who got 300 votes in the election. The election was necessitated after ex-Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar resigned citing health reasons.
