Congress leader Shashi Tharoor said that PM Narendra Modi's visit to Canada to attend G7 summit is an "important visit". Tharoor stated, "G7 are no longer the seven largest economies of the world because India and China are there and (they) should be a part of the G7." PM Modi went to G7 summit on Canada PM Mark Carney's invitation.
