Manipur Chief Secretary Puneet Kumar Goel has officially confirmed that PM Narendra Modi will visit the state on Saturday. It is the first such official confirmation of the PM's visit since the start of unrest in the state since 2023. The chief secretary said PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of development projects worth over ₹7,300 crore in Churachandpur.
