PM Narendra Modi will visit the flood-hit Punjab on September 9, HT reported, citing Punjab BJP chief Sunil Jakhar. Punjab is facing the worst floods in decades due to heavy rainfall and swollen rivers, with the death toll crossing 45. Additionally, PM Modi is reportedly also expected to visit other northern states ravaged by floods, including Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
