Sonipat ACP Headquarters Ajit Singh confirmed the recovery and identification of Sheetal's body, noting a missing report had already been filed in Panipat. Sonipat and Panipat police are now conducting a joint investigation. “There are injury marks on the body, and we can confirm it’s a murder case,” said DSP Rajbir Singh. The police have made no arrests yet.
