The Police detained West Bengal BJP chief Sukanta Majumdar and other party workers for protesting against the law college rape incident in Kolkata. "Mamata Banerjee has ruined democracy in West Bengal," Majumdar said. He alleged police are not allowing them to hold a peaceful, democratic protest. A former TMC student wing leader is the main accused in the rape case.
