A stampede-like situation broke out at a ration shop in Ward 3 of Gariaband, Chhattisgarh as residents broke open the main gate after waiting for hours. The shop was reportedly shut despite the presence of staff. Police arrived quickly and brought the crowd under control. Several people suffered minor injuries during the rush for food grains.
