A police jawan died, and three personnel sustained injuries after an IED planted by Maoists exploded in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district. The explosion occurred in Indravati National Park, where a District Reserve Guard team was conducting an anti-Naxal operation. In a separate incident last week, a sub-inspector was injured by a pressure IED in Bijapur district.
