A police officer was killed after a gunman opened fire near Emory University and the headquarters of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in US' Atlanta. Reports claimed that the suspect believed himself to be sick due to COVID-19 vaccines, and had thus chosen to target CDC. The suspect died from gunfire and no civilian casualties have been reported.
