Mumbai Police Economic Offences Wing, investigating alleged accounting irregularities at IndusInd Bank, has discovered new unsubstantiated entries of about ₹258 crore, CNBC-TV18 reported. This is separate from previously reported ₹1,950 crore accounting mismatch. This amount was used to shore up the bank’s net interest income in certain quarters when results were below market expectations.
