Reacting to Bengaluru stampede, BJP MLA Arvind Bellad said, police was "busy giving protection to the Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar, whereas the crowd...was left unattended". Bellad stated, "they (Karnataka CM and Deputy CM ) wanted to take selfies...with the RCB players...whole attention of the police...was on them". Earlier, Bengaluru Police Commissioner was suspended.
