After a man allegedly spat on a woman pilgrim’s kanwar in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, police promptly arranged a replacement from Haridwar to help her continue the Yatra. Additional SP Satyanarayan Prajapat confirmed the action and emphasized maintaining peace. “The woman pilgrim was provided with a new kanwar to resume her yatra,” he said, stressing the importance of supporting devotees’ faith.
