Police in West Bengal's Durgapur on Tuesday ruled out that a medical student was gang-raped in a forest near a medical college, saying that only one person was involved. Asansol-Durgapur Commissioner of Police Sunil Kumar Choudhary said this while citing technical and scientific evidence collected, and the statement of the victim. Six people have been arrested in the case.
