Three men accused in Coimbatore gang rape case were arrested after being shot in the legs while trying to flee police. The accused — Kaleeswaran, Karuppasamy, and Thavasi — have prior criminal records. They allegedly attacked a 25-year-old man and raped his 21-year-old friend near Coimbatore Airport on November 2. Police traced them via CCTV and caught them near Vellakinaru.
