After a LinkedIn post on a Mumbai auto driver's bag storage service outside US Consulate went viral, police reportedly forced him to shut it down. Lenskart product leader Rahul Rupani had posted about the driver charging ₹1,000/customer for safeguarding bags for visa applicants visiting the Consulate. Rupani estimated the driver earned ₹5–₹8 lakh monthly without even driving his auto.
