A police team that went to arrest a dowry-accused in Bihar's Darbhanga was attacked by the accused's family and other locals on Saturday, leading to clashes between them. The accused, Jitendra Yadav, attempted to flee when a mob began throwing stones at police and tried to snatch their guns. They also tried to block the main road by burning tyres.
