Even as Punjab battles floods, police officials have maintained their focus on another menace, drugs. Under the ongoing 'Operation Seal', Muktsar district police today tightened security at the inter-state borders with Haryana and Rajasthan. A total of 19 checkpoints, 13 along Haryana and six on the Rajasthan side, were set up, where vehicles and commuters were thoroughly checked.
