After a 24-year-old student at South Calcutta Law College was gangraped by an alumnus for allegedly turning down his marriage proposal, the police said whether the crime was pre-planned or "happened suddenly" is yet to be ascertained. The main accused, two students who helped him, and the security guard were arrested. "Every aspect is being probed," said an officer.
