The FIR filed in connection with the stampede at Tamil Nadu's Karur at actor-politician Vijay's rally claimed that police warned TVK workers about possible injuries, but the party workers ignored it. The FIR also mentioned the delayed arrival by Vijay. He was supposed to arrive at 12 noon, but came around 7:30 pm. At least 41 died in the stampede.
