Speaking about stampede at Venkateswara Swamy temple, Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu said the temple was built by a private individual and organisers didn't inform police or local authorities about the event. "Had they informed us, we would have provided police protection and controlled the crowd," he stated. Notably, 10 people lost their lives in the stampede.
