Police sub-inspector Gopal Badane, accused in the alleged suicide of a woman government doctor in Maharashtra’s Satara district, was arrested on Saturday evening. His arrest came hours after a software engineer, a co-accused and the woman's landlord's son, was detained earlier in the day. The doctor, in a note, accused Badane of raping her four times over past five months.
