Two policemen were deputed to guard Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann’s shoes during his visit to the Sri Darbar Sahib gurdwara in Sri Muktsar Sahib, The Indian Express reported, citing a police order. The policemen were in plain clothes and stationed at gate number seven of the gurdwara. BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla criticised the move, calling it a “Sheesh Mahal mindset.”
