Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Amar Preet Singh, cited the presence of political will as one of the key reasons for the success of Operation Sindoor. "There were very clear directions given to us. No restrictions were put on us...If there were any constraints, they were self-made," he said. He added they had full freedom to plan and execute.
