Finasteride, also known as Propecia, a popular drug for male baldness patterns, has been linked to suicide risk in a new study by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The study compiled data from studies between 2017 and 2023 to derive that those who used the drug are more likely to experience mood disorders and suicidal thoughts.
