Power Grid Corporation of India has received Letter of Intent on September 16 as the successful bidder for an ISTS project under Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding. Project will be executed on Build, Own, Operate and Transfer basis, including a 765 kV sub-station at Prayagraj and 765 kV D/C lines in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh to ease load on Vindhyachal-Varanasi line.
