The European Commission greenlit the acquisition of fashion group Versace by Italy's Prada, citing no competition concerns. Earlier this year, Prada struck a €1.25 billion (₹13,000 crore) deal to buy Versace from its parent company Capri Holdings. Capri, which also owns Michael Kors and Jimmy Choo, originally bought Versace for $2.1 billion (over ₹18,000 crore) in 2018.
