Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said she was distressed after hearing about the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad. "My prayers for all families and friends of those on board the flight," she posted on X. The Air India flight was carrying around 242 people and crashed shortly after takeoff. It was heading to London Gatwick airport.
