President Droupadi Murmu has departed for a historic state visit to Angola and Botswana, the first-ever by an Indian Head of State. The visit aims to strengthen India's ties with Africa and the Global South, focusing on defence, energy, and wildlife cooperation. Botswana also pledged support for India's Project Cheetah through additional cheetah transfers.
