Dr Ahmed Mohiyuddin Saiyed, the prime accused in the alleged Ricin terror plot being probed by the Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS), was beaten up by inmates in Sabarmati jail. Police said Saiyed was punched by Nilesh Sharma, an Amraiwadi resident who is lodged for a theft offence, and two others in an attempt to "flaunt their patriotism".
