The process of electing the new Vice President is expected to be initiated by the Election Commission as early as Wednesday or the next 24 hours and be completed within a month, News18 reported, citing sources in the Parliament. The VP is elected by the members of the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha through a secret ballot.
