Anupam Kher recently spoke about why he chooses to live in rented homes, despite having financial capacity to afford a house. He said, "Once a person is gone...there's chance that some disputes might arise regarding property he has left behind. Someone has been thrown out [or]...coerced to sign over their property. These kinds of...conversations don't happen in my house."
