The Karnataka government has increased the registration fee under the Registration Act for immovable properties in the state from 1% to 2% as of August 31, 2025. The total cost of property registrations in Karnataka will now go up to 7.5% of the property, along with stamp duty at 5% and other cess at 0.6/0.65%, The Indian Express reported.
