Orthotics and Prosthetics Association of India (OPAI) has filed a petition urging the Government of India to expand the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) to cover Prosthetic and Orthotic (P&O) treatments. The petition, backed by disability advocates, amputee groups, and healthcare professionals, will be formally submitted to PM Narendra Modi in the next few weeks.
