A massive protest erupted outside the Telangana Secretariat in Hyderabad on Friday, 4 July, as several hundred students came together, demanding that the government fulfil its promise of employment for youngsters. The protest, organised by various student organisations, except for the Congress’s student wing National Students Union of India (NSUI), resulted in the detention of many.
