The Awami Action Committee (AAC) launched massive protests in PoK on Monday, and to curb the demonstration, Islamabad increased security in the area and also snapped internet connection. The civil society group has demanded structural reforms and the implementation of promises made earlier by the Pakistan government. An AAC member said they have been denied fundamental rights for 70 years.
