A mob clashed with security forces in Manipur's Churachandpur district, protesting arrest of two youths for allegedly vandalising banners and cutouts put up in connection with PM Narendra Modi's visit, police said. The vandalism took place on the night of September 11. PM Modi visited the state on Saturday for first time after ethnic clashes broke out in May 2023.
