Protest erupted outside Odisha Assembly on Wednesday after a college student in Balasore succumbed to burn injuries after setting herself on fire. She took the step over alleged inaction on her sexual harassment complaint against a professor. Police used water cannons to disperse protesting Biju Janata Dal workers. BJD also called for ‘Balasore bandh’ from 6 am to 2 pm.
