Thousands of PoK residents staged a protest against Shehbaz Sharif-led federal government and blocked the Karakoram Highway, which is a part of the CPEC connecting China and Pakistan. A local leader of Sharif's party said the administration, which was compensating terrorists, failed to aid traders. Importers and exporters based in Gilgit-Baltistan have been protesting against the trade policies.
