Protests erupted outside the local government offices in China's Jiangyou demanding stricter punishment for three girls aged 13, 14 and 15 for allegedly slapping, kicking and forcing to kneel a 14-year-old girl in a school. The police said two girls have been sent to "specialised schools for corrective education". The protesters feel the punishment is too light.
