Protests erupted at Animal Birth Control (ABC) centre in North Delhi's Rohini Sector 27 late on Friday after dog activists and locals claimed inhumane treatment of stray dogs who were brought there for sterilisation. Jiya Saklani, one of the activists, claimed protesters were beaten up and forcefully removed. The police have denied assaulting the protesters.
